Benefit Golf Tournament

Century 21 Champion is proud to announce that they were able to raise just over $10,000 for the Bill Wilson Center from their 15th Annual Golf Tournament that took place October 2, 2007 at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Course.

For the last 15 years the office has had a tradition of holding a golf tournament every year.  This was the sixth year that the tournament was held to benefit a charity. This was also one of the largest tournaments Century 21 Champion put on with almost 112 golfers and 23 sponsors.

"I was thrilled to see so many people come out to support this event and for such a good cause," said Elise, Tournament Coordinator. "Fund raising events such as this provide our sales associates the opportunity to give back to the local community while enjoying each other's company out on the golf course."

Since 1973, the Bill Wilson Center, a non-profit, community based agency, has been providing services to the Santa Clara community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy. Each year Bill Wilson serves over 6,000 clients through eleven programs.

Make A Wish Softball Tournament

This was the ninth year in a row that Century 21 Champion participated in the Make a Wish Softball Tournament sponsored by Chicago Title.  The tournament takes place at Twin Creeks Sports Complex during August.  Realtors, loan officers, title officers, and inspection companies all participate.

The tournament has three divisions: Majors, Minors, and Just for fun.  Century 21 Champion played in the Majors division this year.

The tournament raises money for children with life threatening illnesses that have a wish to visit a special place that they otherwise would not be able to visit.  All proceeds raised stay in the local area.  This year the tournament raised about $32,500.
